Description

The Regional Geriatric Programs of Ontario is listening to caregivers!

If you are a family member or friend caregiver to a frail senior (65 years or older), your story and experience is valuable. Do you help your family member or friend in one or more of these areas: walking; managing medications; managing pain, getting to and from the bathroom; socialization; managing nutrition; and/or helping with remembering? Tell your story so that other caregivers can benefit from your insight and experience with frailty.

Join us to share, have lunch, and network with other caregivers in order to help create educational materials that will support caregivers of frail seniors all across Ontario.

Free lunch will be served.

Regional Geriatric Programs (RGPs) provide a comprehensive network of specialized geriatric services which assess and treat functional, medical, and psychosocial aspects of illness and disability in older adults who have multiple and complex needs. Working in collaboration with primary care physicians, community health professionals, and others, we seek to meet the needs of the most frail and vulnerable seniors.

The RGPs of Ontario network is a provincial collaborative of 11 RGPs and LHIN-based networks that support specialized geriatric service delivery, capacity building, evaluation, and advocacy toward meeting the health needs of Ontario’s aging population.
